SPECS opens its doors to the High School students of the Institut d'escola Les Vinyes de Castellbisbal http://ielesvinyes.net/ visiting the UPF campus on the 3rd of June 2014.
After a welcome in the UPF auditorium, the 60 visiting students with their accompanying professors attended a selection of demos featuring some aspects of SPECS’s research line: understand Brain, Mind and Behavior by building synthetic cognitive systems.
The goal of the High School visit was to explore new ways to engage, learn and educate. The students are searching innovative solutions to their question “How will the world be when we finish University? “ For SPECS this was an opportunity to contribute to the future of young students' education in science and technology.
